Well! What a rollecoaster that was ! To be announced the winner was insane, absoloutly a dream come true, I literally never in a million years thought that Tyra would say my name! I think the shock on my face pretty much clears that one up!
I had so much fun doing top model and met a great bunch of people, it was amazing the people we got to work with and the constructive criticism i received was just priceless!
I remember when I won everything went in slow motion and Laura and I had big hugs, then all the judges came over and started saying really commendable things… i was in shock and couldnt really take it all in! All the crew wer smiling and clapping… it was a moment!
It is so weird to film something so intense and then for it to just finish. I didnt know what to do with myself when i got home! Plus you are not allowed to tell anyone that you are the winner, that is the biggest secret i have ever had to keep, so thank you to my friends for not pressing me!!!
A big thank you to everyone at Top Model, producers, judges, crew for making the experience so special!
I currently live in New York working with the amazing New York Models http://www.newyorkmodels.com/
and have just signed to a television agent and a publicist so unfortunately you have a lot more of me to see!!

Here are some backstage shots taken on my phone of the Nude Is Rude campaign I shot in Hong Kong for the last couple of days..
I dont know if you guys remember but on the Go see challenge in Hong Kong I managed to somehow book the most jobs (woohoo!) which meant I won a trip back to Hong Kong to shoot the lovely Marissa Zeman’s clothing line “Nude Is Rude”.
We spent 3 days shooting all in all and hopefully got some great shots!
Day 1 was spent on a gorgeous vintage boat which we took out and shot in the middle of the water. We did the campaign looks this day and did about 10 shots i think in all, which is good. It was an all female crew, photographer, hair and make up - so we had a good old girlie gossip! There was also some guys taking backstage video footage, so it will be exciting to see that too. I had just flown in the night before from London, so was feeling a little bit out of it and energy levels did need a lot of coffee that day.. That night we bumped into some of Marisa’s friends and went for some great Japanese food were it was all cooked in front of you, we also had some sake which I have to say is not a favourite of mine, kind of tastes bitter not like a good old glass of bubbles!!
Day 2 This day we were doing the catalogue stuff, which basically means shoot front back then changeee, we probably got through way over 100 looks, some looks we were even getting in one shot, which was pretty nifty! It was quite cold this day, so lots of hot tea was kept a flowing. After this I was exhausted and pretty much fell asleep as soon as I got back to Marisa’s!
Day 3 we spent back at Marisa’s parents house shooting more campaign looks around the pool and on location on top of a beautiful hill with a pretty insane view. We also did some more catalogue this day so it was full on! Marisa bought in another one of her delicious home made salads for lunch and we were all fully wrapped by 5! I took a little cat nap then met up with Jan for some dinner in Socialito (if your in Hong Kong check it out does an amazing kale salad) it is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhJk6rdHZ38 so amazing in Hong Kong everyone just stands outside on the street, the streets are the busiest places!!
We then went on to have a boogie at Boujis and I bumped into a good friend who i have seen in a while which was lovveellyyy
The last two days i spent getting to see Hong Kong, Jen the make up artist and I went to get foot reflexology which was amazing especially to do it before flying when your going to be sat down for 16 hours! I also sneaked in an Apres Ski party which was on someones rooftop, the theme was awesome - everyone wandering around in ski gear..genius. There was also an ice sculpture of a snowman and a lot of cheesy apres songs going on.. I kind of want to steal the theme for my birthday party this friday…!
I shot a jewlerry campaign for Chariol in New York and randomly bumped into the lovely Alexander who owns the company, we went for a quick dins and then voila im off home again. I have to say I really loved Hong Kong this time round, I got to see it through the best people who really looked after me. It was weird seeing some of the places and remembering being there for Americas Next Top Model, especially the airport, where I remember sitting down and getting noodles with all the girls - i think we were really grateful that when travelling they didnt have the cameras rolling - first time we could properly relax!!!
Anyways, I hope this gives you an insight into the week I had, I am so grateful to everyone who made it so special! I am sure I will be back in Hong Kong soon :)
xx
